About THEOS
THEOS means God in Greek, because at the core of every search there is a longing for a relationship with God. Jesus Changes Everything.
We are a diverse community that began with a small gathering in a living room and has grown into a vibrant church in Pensacola - where people are encountering Jesus and lives are being changed every week. We are committed to creating a place where everyone can encounter God’s presence, develop deep relationships with others, and discover their purpose through serving.
OUR PASTORS
Angel & Julia Treviño
Angel and Julia Treviño serve as the Lead Pastors of THEOS Church. After years of pastoring in New York City — helping revitalize a historic church in Harlem — they sensed God calling them back home to Northwest Florida — where Julia grew up as a military kid and where their family has deep roots.
In 2023, they stepped out in faith to pastor Warrington Assembly of God — one of the city’s historic churches. What began as a step of obedience quickly grew into a vision to build a Jesus-centered, Spirit-filled church — now known as THEOS Church.
Angel and Julia are college sweethearts, having met at Southeastern University in Central Florida. Together with their son, Rio Benjamin, they are committed to building a church that helps people follow Jesus and brings hope to this city they love.
